Hello, and welcome to the first annual Marvel Omega Awards, or more appropriately, the Emmo Awards! Every year starting in 2006, you - the readers - will have the chance to nominate and then vote for your favorites in over a dozen categories, including writer, title, character, issue, and cliffhanger. The nomination process begins in January and lasts through the middle of February, then final voting lasts through the first week in March. Winners will be featured in the annual spotlight and receive the Emmo 'statue'!

Since this is the first year for the awards ceremony, nominations were accepted going all the way to the beginning of Marvel Omega, which means there may be some material included from as far back as October 2003. We are happy to announce our winners below and would also like to thank everyone who participated in the nomination and voting processes, as this wouldn't have been possible without your contributions. Congratulations to all the winners, and stayed tuned for our spotlight on them all. We'll see you back here next year!
